Sold Tikka pre-fit Carbon Six carbon fiber barrel 6.5 CM new

Every time you bump this listing, I have to check it!!....I want this sold so I don't buy it!! I have the std bolt face Tikka sitting here...and I already have a 20" 6.5cm CTR...where are you located? and any other trades besides a big pack?

I'm a bit surprised I still have it. I'm located a little north of Seattle. I'm not really in need of anything other than I'd like a new pack... but if you have something you want to trade, it never hurts to ask.

Is this a straight swap for a tikka? Or is there any work that needs to be done by a smith ?

Straight up swap. I did mine myself. The factory barrel was a bit tough to get off but I let it sit for a week with some liquid wrench and it wasn't too bad. I also chose to run a tap through the receiver to make sure the threads were nice and clean but the new barrel spun on easily by hand all the way to the shoulder. I torqued it down and checked the headspace with some go/no go gauges and it was dead on. If you're comfortable working on your own rifle and have the tools to do it, it really wasn't too difficult. Otherwise it would be an easy job for a smith.

Long time. I ordered mine 2/13/2021 and received mine late September. They quoted me 4 months lead time, but there were covid shutdowns, their shop in Louisiana was hit by a hurricane, and UPS lost my barrel during shipping so they had to rush to make replacements. Not their fault and they were excellent to deal with and made sure to make things right... just took a while. Hopefully they're back on track and can deliver closer to their estimated lead times now. Good luck, I think you'll like it, mine is awesome.

Yeah he quoted me 4 months too, about a month ago and said its been taking anywhere from 2-4 months lately. Hopefully hes right! Lol
