Currently have a factory plastic trigger guard with 3rd M+ mags for my 308.
I’ve never had any issues with factory or reloads.

Are the AICS mags any more reliable than factory M+?

What about 5rd M+ compared to 5 rd AICS?

Thanks.

Burned out one barrel with factory mags without issue..

Can get longer rounds in a 223 by going AICS. Otherwise I do not see the point

I just went to Aics for the trainer. Honestly it's been a little pain in the butt. Using Atlas bdm and wrecked one latch trying to fit it. Spent an entire afternoon fiddling with it. Just to grab the other supplied one and have it work perfectly with no file work.

Spent some time this weekend using the mdt aics mags. Using 10 rounders. Fed perfectly. The higher capacity was great for gophers.

Aics mags are a little cheaper than the mambas and easier to find. Not too worried about seat depth as I'm only shooting 77's.

We will see how the system works in two weeks at the S2H school.

I have had good luck with both, but I only shoot AICS in my HNT26. I have also been running @pods8 (Rugged Stitching) mags, and they have also been great.
