Tikka Laminate Stock

What’s the Rokide opinion on Tikka’s grey laminate stock? I realize you can’t add the vertical grip, but it is impervious to weather and looks nice. It weighs a little more. Thoughts?

I can’t speak on the tikka. But I’ve had a grey wolf sako 85 for many years. I like it. If you looking for a sporter style setup it’s nicer than the factory plastic for sure. Recoil pad kind of sucks on mine.

Ive always been drawn to them from a looks perspective.
I doubt there would be any functional benefit over the factory plastic besides just not having a plastic stock.
I’m sure it is fine for what a sporter stock has to offer.

This is just my opinion. I agree looks nice with stainless.

Is the recoil pad on the laminate stock the same as on the other stocks?

Is the recoil pad on the laminate stock the same as on the other stocks?

Just picked up the new threaded model last week for my kid in 308, and the recoil pad appears to be a tad thicker than the lite models. I like the shorter threaded barrel, and it only comes in at 6lbs 7oz bare.
