Without any rails on it I would guess 35 or less.

Last question - does it come with a recoil lug?Without any rails on it I would guess 35 or less.
Where it?New foundation Remnant looks like their best hunting stock yet. They haven't fully released it yet but pics they posted look good.
Screen shot it, I don’t have instagram
Put an order in for one
I'm tempted to do the same... Do you happen to know the weight and trigger reach spec?Put an order in for one
No idea but the trigger reach looks short from the photos I have seen. Weight isn’t a huge consideration for me but I’m guessing it weighs what a Gideon does.I'm tempted to do the same... Do you happen to know the weight and trigger reach spec?
Kind of in the same boat. I'll give them a call tomorrow...No idea but the trigger reach looks short from the photos I have seen. Weight isn’t a huge consideration for me but I’m guessing it weighs what a Gideon does.
@Quandary
What’s the barrel channel I let look like? I need to fit a 1.20 shank barrel and am curious if I’m going have to do some sanding or not.
Did they provide a spec for the recoil lug? Factory?
Curious about your thoughts on the inlet?
Good to hear. If possible a picture of the bartlein shank at the action would be appreciated.I have a Bartlein carbon Sendero barrel on mine. The take off barrel in a different caliber was a Proof Tikka 300WM carbon barrel. When Bartlein wrapped the barrel they mimicked the Proof barrel contour, however I believe it has a 1.25 shank, don't have the order details handy. At the time I did it that way because it fit the barrel channel on the stock I was using. The Foundation has plenty of room for that barrel.
The recoil lug slot is factory spec. I am using the Mountain Tactical stainless steel lug. To this point I haven't decided if I am going to bed the action. The folks at Foundation tell me the vast majority of the competitive shooters do not bed the Foundation stocks. I have only shoot at the 100 yard range for load development. The rifle is shooting 10 shoot .75 groups, which for a 35 Whelen is more than adequate in my book. I will be taking it out to longer distances in the next month now that the long range I belong to is opening.
