Tikka t3 in 7mm-08 I got for my wife. Shot a little break in and had my Harris on for her to get comfortable I load the bipod a little and the stud stripped right out.

Asking for advice as tikka said no warranty as not for bipods…

Throw epoxy on threads and hope it holds for season or pull off stock and fill the area with epoxy around screw, or find new stock?

Next year I would like to get her a new scope and stock but don’t want to mess too much this close to season.

Couple options, but good news is that the stock is super easy to work on.

Can drill a new hole, and use a nut on the inside of stock to hold it in.

Can get a T nut and countersink.

Can put some epoxy on the threads, thread it back in, and call it good.

I'd look at using a T nut if possible. I haven't worked on a factory Tikka stock but I use T nuts when installing studs and/or rails on other stocks. Should be a pretty simple DIY fix, good luck.

I’ll try to clean it up and epoxy if not I think a t nut and fine thread stud would be a pretty quick fix too

I'd think if it ripped out of the plastic then It'll pull out of epoxy. You need something to create a mechanical lock, T nut should be ideal.

Grind down on the inside so there’s no interference I assume? What is the torque on tikka action screws?

Use the bipod for the range and leave it at home for hunting. Unless it’s a really long legged bipod it’s most likely going to be useless in the field anyway.

Buy a pint sized game changer with getlite fill and learn to shoot off of it off of basically anything.

Grind for clearance? Yes. Torque on the action screws in a factory stock? Someone else will have to jump in on that one, I've only used aftermarket stocks that were pillar bedded or mini chassis.
