Tikka factory stocks question

So I have both a roughtech and a super lite and I tried swapping my roughtech stock on my super lite barrel and action and there is a big gap between them. Is that normal? I’m assuming it is because the roughtech barrel is bigger. Just looks odd to me enough where I don’t like it. I really like the feel of the roughtech stock. Any ideas? I don’t like how the super lite stock feels so slick and cheap.

Bigger barrel needs a bigger channel. Those stocks are flexible so pressuring the foreend can put pressure on the barrel, impacting accuracy. That means on a plastic stock that isnt particularly stiff its good to have some extra space. Most folks here advocate for having PLENTY of space. Function>looks

Your roughtech will need more space in the normal stock though. The narrower channel will contact the heavier barrel.
