Here’s some more data. I posted my .22-250 above.

Here is a recent session at sea level and 85 degrees. Factory Hornady 129 Grain SSTs. T3X Superlite, 22.5” stainless fluted barrel. Cartridge is .260. No barrel cool down.

Ran 5 shots through the LabRadar of factory 147 ELD-M through my 24.3" barreled 6.5 and got an average of 2576 fps. Gun has less than 100 rounds through it so it should speed up some after some more rounds.

Tikka T3X Lite 6.5 Creedmoor 24" stainless barrel, Hornady 140gr ELD-Match today averaged 2665.

Worth noting that my velocity was back-calculated based on average observed drop at 500 yards (10 shot group with 4.9" vertical spread) and Hornady's listed BC for the bullet.

I have a T3x Roughtech in 6.5 CM with a 24” bbl that shoots the 140gr ELDM factory load at 1705 fps.

I've shot the Hornady Precision Hunter 200 gr eldx through my tikka 300 WM and my chrono has it at 2820 fps, box says 2850 so it's pretty dang close.
I ended up have my CDS dial cut to 2850 without chrono. Seems to me that should fly pretty dang close!!

Only 2 I have handy that were actually chrono’d as opposed to just trued off my app—both average of 10 rounds via labradar.

24” CTR with a brake, 6.5mb hornady american gunner 140gr is 2620 fps.

22” Hunter 7mm-08 Federal premium 140gr nosler ballistic tips 2844.

260 Rem T3 stainless lite 22.4" barrel. Don't normally buy factory ammo but decided to try some to practice and get some brass.

120 gr Federal Fusion - 2799 fps (box says 2950 fps)
140 gr Federal Premium Sierra BT - 2547 fps (box says 2700 fps)

So about 150 fps slower, I should try it again to see if the Chrony was acting up that day.

I have a T3X Stainless 24” barrel 6.5 Creed and a 6.5 PRC Veil something or the other 24” barrel as well. Both shooting Hornady 147 ELD-M ammo.

The creedmoor box says 2695 but truing it up at distance in the Hornady G1/G7 app I have a MV of 2575.

For the PRC the box says 2910 but I’m finding more like 2810.

I have a 270 win Roughtech that shoots awesome with Eldx ammo, but I haven’t had a chance to chrono it yet. Just curious, but what kind of accuracy are you getting with the rest of the ammo you listed?

Good to know! My Rifle liked the 145 ELDX too.

Most accurate by far, by that I mean little over 1 moa for 10 shot group, was the Federal with TSX. Unfortunately it did not perform on animals as desired and I lost one mouflon @ 80 yards. I think the expansion of the bullet is unpredictable without the tip. I sort of confirmed my suspicions the next day when I shot another mouflon @ 350 yards and showed the same size entry and exit hole. Thankfully the second one dropped right away and stayed down, while the first mouflon dropped right away and then stood up and ran away after about 2 mins of kicking on the ground. Spent the rest of the day and morning of the next searching but there was no blood trail.

The next ammo that the rifle liked is the Browning 150 gr and Hornady 145 gr ( .8 MOA 3 round groups). After those, the 140 gr Hornady Whitetail (1 MOA 3 round group) Then at the "bottom" of the list would be the 130 Gr Norma (1.75 MOA 3 round group) . I didn't get velocities but I shot the 130gr Hornady Whitetail also and that one match the spread of the 130 gr Norma almost identically. I have not shot 10 round groups with any these and was only doing 3 round groups with the rifle cooled off as much as possible before swapping ammo as I was trying to quickly find a replacement for the TSX before my next hunt.

Went out this morning for zero checks and confirming velocities, as it’s been a couple thousand rounds through both rifles with no cleaning (yes they are still zeroed, no POI shift at all at 100 yards).

These are factory Tikka/Sako barrels shooting factory ammo. All shots are back to back with no cool down time at all, just time to swap magazines in and go. Been shooting my Finnish and German hunting guns this way for 20+ years now with no issues at all (despite dozens of folks telling me I’m “ruining my rifles”).

Tikka .260 Rem with a Sako 22.4” fluted stainless replacement barrel (same barrels that go on Tikkas). Shooting 129 Grain SSTs Hornady Superformance. 95 degrees, 2,200 feet elevation. 6-8 mph 2 o clock wind.

Tikka .223 with a Tikka 20” 8 twist blued barrel. Shooting 77 grain TMKs Sierra Black Hills Factory ammo. 98 degrees, 2,200 feet elevation. 8-10 mph 3 o clock wind.

Also, this Garmin I picked up is the bees knees! Sell your other chronos and save some money and get one of these! What an awesome little tool.
