Tikka CTR stock question.

Simple question I cannot find an answer to. Will a factory CTR barreled action fit into a stock with a barrel channel designed for a Proof research barrel? Correct me if I am wrong but the profiles seem very similar?

I'm pretty sure that the Proof barrel contour is thicker than the CTR. If not, sandpaper is your friend.

CTR profile is definitely smaller than a Proof sendero. You’ll be good. I was just measuring my CTR barrel and a 20” 223 is .790 at the shoulder of the muzzle threads.
