I have an extra Ctr stock from a build I may do something like this
What magazine is that? You copied me! You even got it with the bolt on the correct side!
Mine's nearly identical: exactly 9 pounds with the SM rings, SWFA 3-9 and Waters mag / T3 bottom. I did cerakote it for weather protection. Its my favorite rifle to shoot, the gun doesn't move. And with the 80eldm it has some reach.

Its the Waters Rifleman tikka 6rd 223 with 2.6oal.What magazine is that?
Please tell me more. Do they fit the stock CTR bottom metal? Can you get them in .308?Its the Waters Rifleman tikka 6rd 223 with 2.6oal.
Those magazines fit the standard bottom metal. Yes you can get them in 308. And I think you can get a CTR mag version too. Go to his site and read carefully. Please tell me more. Do they fit the stock CTR bottom metal? Can you get them in .308?
I've left the gap for now but considered bonding it with jb weld. It's solid as is, no issues. To the guys who have done this are you just leaving a gap around the bottom metal or filling it with something?
Just for reference, is it the 20” or 24”?Adding to this older thread. I left the factory rail on and haven’t scoped it yet but dropped about a pound from factory with a stockys vg tikka stock, factory plastic bottom metal and mag.
Hard to put the elk quarter in my pack on a diet…I found that if I diet and get stronger, my rifle doesn’t need a diet.

for me so far im keeping the gap with the CTR stock and put a regular OEM bottom and using tikka magazine. do not forget the retainer clip for the magazine,.So jealous of the lefty ctrs. They are impossible to find now it seems.
