Hey guys, figured you might have some interest in this tidbit of info
As part of the Sako select program we have access to Tikka CTR's in 223 again.
(Pretty much all of the EU specific rifles are available, aside from the superlites ATM)
Stainless / Blued, LH/RH, Adjustable vs nonadjustable cheek pieces, 20" / 24" barrels



Taking preorders on them now, Lemme know if you are interested!
Pricing is best discussed over a PM as they are essentially custom order rifles

My 8 twist Tikka is sub moa to 1100 yards with 88 eldm

This the internal length on the 223 ctr mags that were available in the last ctr 223s Tikka sold, idk why anything would have changed, hopefully not!

Yes, that’s good. The original post showed the T3X Varmint variant which uses a different magazine.

The Tikka 223 throat is pretty short from what I've read, unless something has changed in the newer 8tw. I need to dig on some these Tikka 223 threads. I'd be running 80eldm out of one these if I order.

Yep, short throat. That’s my only gripe with my CTR. 69 TMKs aren’t too bad, but trying to seat a 77 TMK even to mag length, sure takes up a lot of powder capacity.

Fortunately I know a guy with some tools to fix that......I'll prob throat mine for 80eldm. When I throated a 22cm few years back, the 77tmk had similar base to ogive as a 88eldm.
