Yes it’s an MDT product. Adds about 2 spacers worth of lop equivalent on the regular butt pad. Maybe 1/2”?Can you tell me about the butt pad adjustment? Is it an mdt product and if so what does it add for LOP?

Yeah I will. You can always add spacers with it as well if you need longer. Is this it?
If able can you measure trigger shoe to the end of the pad?
I’m ready to give the hnt 26 a go. The more I shoot my ACC the more I feel I prefer a chassis.
Thanks. I need 13”. So the other way.Yeah I will. You can always add spacers with it as well if you need longer.
I’m 5’6” and prefer a shorter lop as well. The standard pad with no spacers is only like 12 1/2” or something. Too short for me without spacers on it. However with the adjustable one it’s perfect.Thanks. I need 13”. So the other way.
I don’t mind the weight, actually probably will balance the rifle a little better.
I also plan on using their non carbon vertical grip.
I have a KRG Midas trigger on my Tikka in the HNT 26, which has an adjustable trigger shoe. The way I have it set up with the adjustable butt pad right now is at a 13 5/8 lop.Thanks. I need 13”. So the other way.

Which do you prefer the hnt 26 or the rokstok? I’m trying to decide between the two. The adjustable pad idea creating above bore line similar to the rokstok has me leaning toward the hnt 26I have a KRG Midas trigger on my Tikka in the HNT 26, which has an adjustable trigger shoe. Like I’ve come to realize with this stock and the Rokstok, is that when you have a short trigger reach, the lop can be longer and actually does not matter as much. My Rokstok and HNT 26 both have very similar trigger reach.
I have 7prc that I've used in both, and I definitely like the rokstok more. Me personally the tuning fork sensation bothers me caused by the chassis. I really like the grip on the rokstok fits my hand spot on. I like there are less things that can go wrong on it on the backcountry.Which do you prefer the hnt 26 or the rokstok? Yeah the adjustable butt pad for the HNT26 really makes a difference. I wish it was a bit lighter, but that’s the only downside. It adds about 4 oz to the stock compared to the regular pad and a couple spacers.Awesome, thanks for the feedback guys. I’m building a 6 UM on a tikka action and thinking she’s gonna get a hnt 26. Just really hoping to be able to spot my impacts without having to use a brake ( im Canadian where suppressors are not legal or I’d go for one of those) which had me thinking a rok stok would be the way to go, but being able to add an adjustable but nopad seems like you can achieve the same above bore shoulder positioning with the hnt 26
I wonder if it could be skeletonized at all to save some weight? Not that I’m too worried about weight though as I still should be able to hit that 8-9 lb range even with the extra weight of the adjustable butt padYeah the adjustable butt pad for the HNT26 really makes a difference. Definitely can hit that weight. Mine is 8 lbs 4 oz with the butt pad, RS 1.2 and Tikka lite contour barrel.I wonder if it could be skeletonized at all to save some weight? Right on, that’s a nice weight. What is the length on those barrels? How does the rifle balance? You run a brake or can? I ordered a IBI alpine lite contour which is very similar to factory tikka contour and thinking about cutting it to 20” Also 8.4 lb is pretty good with that 25oz rs 1.2. As far as optics go I’ve narrowed my choices down to between the rs 1.2 or NF nxs 2.5-10. If I went with the NF I think I’d just go with sfp since their ffp reticles suck for hunting and also since I’ll be maxed at 10 power for a long shot anyways and be able to use sub tensions accurately. A lot to like about the maven though and at 8.4 lb thats a nice weight for a long shotDefinitely can hit that weight. Mine is 8 lbs 4 oz with the butt pad, RS 1.2 and Tikka lite contour barrel.
18” barrel, suppressed of course. Balances great. I use both the NXS 2.5-10 and the RS 1.2. Both are great, but the reticle of the Maven and the higher magnification work better for true long range work. You’re right about the 10x and SFP. It’s a non issue with the max mag being that.Right on, that’s a nice weight. What is the length on those barrels? How does the rifle balance? You run a brake or can? With an unbraked unsuppressed 6um I think youre going to have a better chance spotting shots in a rokstock than a hnt26. And if you are worried about balance my 6.5 cm 20in factory sporter barrel balances perfect on a tac table (maven rs1.2). I flip-flopped my 6cm and put it in my hnt26 and took my 6.5 cm out of the hnt and put it in the rokstock and think I am maximing the platforms with the heavier recouping gun in the Rokstock. The buttpad above bore does help out though (have a tr2 buttstock on aother chassis set up like this) I just haven't felt the need to raise the buttpad for the weight with a 6cmAwesome, thanks for the feedback guys. Thanks for the info, I contacted maven to see if I could import a scope into Canada and although a pain it looks to be possible so I might have to go that route. Last questions… what height scope rings do you run and do you run a rail? I’m looking at getting the UM tikka rings and was thinking lows but maybe mediums are a better bet especially if I get the adjustable butt pad or go the rok stok route. UM low Tikka rings for both my Rokstok and HNT 26.Thanks for the info, I contacted maven to see if I could import a scope into Canada and although a pain it looks to be possible so I might have to go that route. Thanks for info! hmm decisions decisions. Sounds like the rok stok is a safer bet although I suppose worst case scenario I could always run a brake… im just not a huge fan of brakes on hunting rifles so we’ll see
I’m looking to build something very similar. Are you willing to share parts/price list? The middle one (green) is a Tikka 7PRC build. The answer is yes… it’d badass. I’ve got a 20” barrel sending factory ELDX and it shoots tight little groups. I’m doing a trigger upgrade in a month or so that should dramatically things, excited about it. It weighs 11lbs63oz with a double pull and suppressor. Money.
