Tikka Bottom Metal.

Has anyone here replaced the bottom metal on a Tikka?

I see Red Snake has a conversion that moves to a AICS Mag which looks interesting but I see a few other offerings as well.

Looking into a .280 AI build and I would like a bit more mag space to play with loads. Just concerned that these conversions allow for more mags space but may lead to feeding issues or other headaches.

Any feedback would be great!

Tikka Performance has some options. Anarchy Outdoors also has some Tikka accessories but I’m not certain they have bottom metal. If you have a long action magnum it seems like the Red Snake guys in Texas have the best oprion for you to be able to get a longer COAL.

Here’s my Tikka rechambered in 280ai with our AICS Bottom Metal which will fit in factory stocks and aftermarket stocks with factory bottom metal inlet.
