I went to install my UM bolt handle, i turned the shroud out of the notch clockwise to remove the shroud, went back across the notch counterclockwise and went into the big detent without the tool or an allen wrench to keep the spacing. I didnt remove the factory bolt handle, i turned it back up out of the detent and put the tool in there, went back to the detent and swapped my bolt handle.

around 2 minutes in this video he says, youre gonna have a bad day if you go into that detent without a spacer. Have I damaged something? I got it back together and it seems normal.

I was in an NRL. And somehow my cocking piece got rotated between stages. No idea how that is possible! Maybe the RO sabotaged me! 🤣

Anyway, I lay down on a 1 target 4 position coyote at like 650 yards. Go to close the bolt and it won't go. Shells seem to loading fine, no jams. Look further back and my cocking piece is sideways.

Ripped the bolt out, took my pocket knife (still folded), and used the back edge of the knife as a leverage point on the sear and ripped the firing pin back and rotated the cocking piece to the normal position.

Cleaned the stage with 20 seconds left 💅

😅

Worse case scenario you can do something similar. But now that its happened you know that much more about how your gun works.
