I am guessing they are doing something... but it better be around the similar price range as the t3x lol
It's already leaked online that they are introducing a new T3x model and revamping the existing T3x lite line.

  1. Existing T3x lite models are getting threaded muzzles
    • Looks like they didn't shorten barrel lengths or introduce new chamberings
    • Doesn't look like any other major changes and not a big price shift
  2. Introducing a new T3x Ace model
    • MSRP roughly $1,700
    • 9.5# from factory with aluminum chassis
    • Just google T3x Ace and plenty of gun seller websites have it preloaded with the specs and chamberings

They have 7 PRC coming out. That’s a new chambering.

It`s the action still the same length? Wondering how the tikka action can accommodate the long bc bullets for 7mm.

I would assume so. There are a ton of 7 PRCs out there built off a Tikka action. Probably have some magazine restrictions with the stock one, but there are aftermarket options.

I turned a 300WM Tikka into a 7mm PRC by just swapping barrels. Shoots the Factory Hornady 180 ELDM sub MOA to 750+ so far.

All the new t3x come threaded. Still mostly Same lengths though which is weird (22 and 24)Same price according to the Midwest gun works site. You can go on there and see the specs of some of the new models

That's a great deal
Yeah, I thought I got a great deal on one for 30% off. Then the next week they had a second on sale for 40% off. So now I have two T3Xs in 308. One is getting dropped off tomorrow for a re-barrel and the other I chopped down short until I decide what I want to build off of it.

Are any of these 5/8x24 threaded options? (Without an adapter)

Agreee - those 20” Creedmoor’s are a lot of gun for the money. 20” threaded, cerakoted, fluted bolt and heavier fluted barrel.
This is exactly what I got last month. Very happy this and LRH forum talked me out of a semi-custom build and into buying that instead.

I’m confused. The Tikka Roughtechs I’m used to all actually had the barrel threaded 5/8x24. These ones here a need an adapter? Different model? Can anyone confirm?

The Roughtechs use the larger "D18" or "heavy varmint" barrel profile from Sako/Tikka. So they come threaded at 5/8.

They now make a lite Roughtech, and from another thread my understanding those are not D18, and use like a m15x1 (or something) adapter vs 5/8x24

Correct. My roughtech lite came with an adapter that screws on, once you see it you see that there wouldn’t be enough meat on the barrel for it to be threaded to 5/8x24

I don’t ‘need’ one but I’m still super tempted to buy one just for the deal. 20” is perfect for me running suppressed.
It’s a boat load of fun with my CGS Hyperion bolted on.

A lot easier to not have to bother with muffs, batteries, etc.

Plus the recoil reduction.
