Saturday I drove down to europtics, its unfortunate for my bank account that I'm only 2 hrs away. Id been hunting a heavy varmit & whitetail long range rig simular to my tikka upr 6.5cm. Thought about a seekins ph3, but they only had 20" barrels and a 20" prc is a 24 creed and I have that. Found a 24" ace game in 6.5 prc. Would have prefered a target with the heavier barrel contour, but it's got the other qualities I wanted, already in a non folding chassis, smooth action, short bolt lift, 20moa rail, threaded barrel, and a decent trigger. So I buy the ace, a box of lapua brass, some 135 berger hybrid hunter bullets. Stop at another store, get dies, & a jug of retumbo, cause the data showed it made decent speed and with the lowest pressure.
Mounted a sig tango4 scope I had, and threw together an assortment of shells. 6 w/ 140gr garbage rem bullets, 6 with 4831sc and 3 w/ retumbo, all 135 berger. 4831sc wasn't bad, but retumbo was awesome. Ill let the target do the typing... 100 yards, the retumbo group can be covered by a shell head, they are .535.

All in all, exceptional rifle. 5 stars, would buy another. 20251012_102218.jpg
