Tikka 7PRC

Anyone with a factory 7PRC tikka lite tell me the barrel length. I see 22” threaded and I see 24” threaded online so I’m curious on which one is correct.

I’m assuming you are shooting 180eldm? What velocity are you getting? Debating on leaving it 22” or cutting it back to 20 or even 18

180 ELD @ 2825 fps, but I’m still in the first 100 rounds so I’m being cautious.

I've been planing to build a 7 PRC for ELR plinking, not serious competition or hunting. When UM had a couple in stock I jumped.

Dropped the barreled action into a Rokstok, added a 40 MOA rail and a 4-20 ATACR to add some mass, and to maximize available scope travel (I believe the 4-20 has the most travel of the ATACR line). With a TBAC Magnus it's 10 lb 5 oz. My ideal would be closer to 14 lbs to soak a little more recoil, but this will work to get started. It really isn't bad as is, and I don't enjoy recoil.





180 ELD's touch lands at 3.400" in my barrel...

Looks now like I can dial to 2350 yds without increasing velocity anyways.

Mine is a 22” threaded, picked it up from Scheels after accruing some gift cards lovin’ it
