Tikka 6.5 PRC MAGAZINE is there a 3rd mag that works?

I have searched and I know this question has been asked before but I can not find a definitive answer.

Will a 3rd 300wsm or any other Tikka 3rd mag work in the 6.5prc.
I really dislike the 4rd mag that came with this rifle. I’d prefer to stay with oem if possible.

Standard long magnum magazine fits 3 if you have the long action bolt stop.
Converted 7mag to 6 PRC and the original 7mag mag works fine.

Works fine for me. I have 3 rounders and 5 round 300 win mag size for mine w/ the long action bolt stop.

I tap them on something primer down after I load them though to make sure they are all the way at the back.

I don't think so. Mine is a 300 win mag host that was rebarreled.

Yes it does. I switched mine out with a hells canyon before even shooting it

Yep I use one one my 7rem mag magazines…holds 3

Interesting. My semi custom 6.5 PRC started as a .300 WSM, I didn't change the bolt stop and use a 6.5 PRC mag. Wonder why Tikka went with a long action bolt stop? Less chance of short stroking?

Here is a beretta metal tikka short action mag. 3 rds of factory 147 Eldm. Not much spare room in mag but feeds smooth and much lower profile than the factory 4 rd.

Recently barrel swapped from a 300wsm to 6.5prc. This is a 6.5 147eldm in the wsm mag.
It doesn’t work.
I got a hells canyon mag on the way.
