I bought this 30-06 Tikka brand new, and sent it unfired to JES to have it rebored to 338-06. It’s cut to 20” and threaded 5/8-24 with a 25* taper. It has medium Talley rings and a Vortex Diamondback Tactical FFP 4-16x44, a Mountain Tactical spring in the trigger, an oversize knob, and one factory mag, I plan on removing the taper mount upon sale unless buyer wants it for a little more. There is a good sized scratch on the top of the barrel, but it’s otherwise in perfect shape.
I had a ton of once fired Federal -06 brass from my other -06s, and converted it all over to 338-06. Did just a little load development, and the gun shot perfect, MOA with 225etips at 2480. I have 180 pieces of brass converted, ready to load and unfired as 338-06, plus 30 that are primed, and 20 that are 1x fired as 338-06. Dies are RCBS with a Lee factory crimp die. $1000 shipped to your FFL.
