I have a 308 T3X. If I install a 7prc prefit barrel on the action, will the 308 bolt face work with that configuration or do I need to find a magnum bolt face?

Yes, you will need a magnum bolt, or you could have your bolt face opened up by a smith.

But if you swap that 7PRC barrel to 284 Win your 308 bolt face will work just fine. Of course your options for factory ammo won’t be quite as good, but if you reload it’s a great option.
