A good friend and I had the opportunity to guide a wounded Veteran on a hunt with Hunting with Heroes a few weeks back. He connected on a nice antelope buck and has been researching rifles.
I’ve recommended a buy once rifle for all North America and know that a .30-06 could be the ticket.
Anyone got an -06 they’d like to send down the road? Not sure he’ll buy a used one, but trying to help him see his options as I suspect this will be where he lands.
A good scope would also be appreciated.
