My MDT mags had a fair amount of slop fore and aft.
In order to feed properly the bottom of the mag needed to be pushed forward
allowing the tip if the round to feed.
To start with it was a PITA, however,
I adapted to it; never missed an opportunity or animal because of it
but the potential was there.
I remedied it by doing the following:
Made a tape "dam" to contain the epoxy
After curing filed to a taper until it would insert smoothly and release without resistance
Zero play. Have only run about 20 rounds through so far but it's been flawless.
