I gotta say I am really impressed with tight spot not only as a product but as a company. A few months back I noticed a small crack in one of the carbon rods/tubes but I didn't think much of it till recently when that crack became a crushed rod caused by me. Anyway I emailed them and Joe Jacks said send it back and they will fix or replace it for me no questions asked. I sent it last weds and it came back yesterday. I thought it was a new one because they replaced the rod but went way above by also putting the newest hood on it since I had the old foam one as well as replacing all the screws since mine had developed some rust. Some will say that they are too much money but with this company you will never have to buy another one. Very impressed and I would recommend them to everyone. Thanks again Joe

Great folks at Tightspot

sister companies Ripcord and MBG sights are also excellent.

Nice. Watch the rubber hoods. Field points are OK, but some broadheads will work their way out of the rubber and cause some vibration while shooting. I went back to foam.

I would own one if they would make a two arrow gripper version. I prefer not to have my broadheads touching anything.

I prefer the foam as well. I'm really not sure why everyone went away from it.

That's cool. I got mine when they were just doing the rubber so I had to buy foam to put in it.

I just added foam to mine that only had the rubber insert.

I agree, gotta have foam.

I noticed with rubber only, the hood end was a LOT louder too.

CC, is the foam you've added to the hood something you got from TightSpot? Or, is it a home-brew remedy? Have a bunch of close cell foam for Pelican cases that might work?
Thanks...

I just picked up some replacement foam for another quiver that was roughly the same dimensions than used a SHARP filet knife to carve it to the correct shape.

Closed cell is what you want, that pelican foam outta work fine. Just use a real thin bladed knife to carve on it.

Has Tightspot changed the style of foam they provide?

I have an older TS (pre rubber hood) with the foam that only covered about half the hood depth. It was a soft foam and I didnt like it, I always replaced those with a firmer closed cell foam as well. I like the foam to fill the hood as well so broadheads are completely encased in foam. I think this holds them better and helps keep noise down.

Thanks for the reply, CC. I would like to have the entire BH surrounded in foam as well. Weh I got this TS quiver, I almost thought it was missing something under the hood, LOL.

BTW, I use an electric fish fillet knife to cut the closed cell foam for my gun cases...works GREAT!
