Tick prevention on dog

I got this late this spring for the same issue. Dogs brought ticks indoors. They're on bravecto. This seems to of helped. A quick couple sprays on their necks and front legs before off leash training sessions. Although, I also think we moved past spring and in general have seen less ticks. It was around 20 bucks.

Yes, I am a vet.

But check with your vet on what they recommend. They'll have a better grasp of the local situation. We don't see as many ticks from these city dogs. Fleas are our bigger problem with this sandy soil in the Midlands of SC

Ticks could be jumping off BECAUSE of the stuff you used? Maybe it’s working??
