Thumb Button Suggestions?

I am looking to buy my first thumb button release. I have a Carter Honey hinge style release, but I much prefer using my brother's Carter Chocolate Lite Thumb button. I like shooting a Thumb button and have been pleased with Carter's quality and durability. I think I will buy a Carter Wise Choice 3 finger, but I am looking for other release suggestions and some reviews of the Wise Choice before I purchase.

I’ve got a wise choice and am happy with it. One if my deciding factors was I wanted one that the jaw closed when the release was cocked, I didn’t want to have to manually close the jaw.

I use a Stan Perfex Long Neck and really like it. I also have a Spot Hogg Whipper Snapper which is good. I go back and forth between the two.

I've tried various brands but still keep coming back to Carter. I really like the short neck of the Too Simple but I prefer and shoot the 2 finger Nock 2 It better. Something about only have two fingers on the release decreases torque during my shot. The Nock 2 It is the two finger version of the Wise Choice.

So the Nock 2 It is a different brand, but basically the 2 finger version of the wise choice?

The Stan Onnex is a great release. I prefer the no click. Very adjustable with different barrel sizes and lengths. They have a size chart on their website you can print to get an idea of what you need.

I went with the Stan Axis last year. I haven't dabbled much with thumbs, but I can see now that trying a few would have been helpful.

The Nock 2 It is a collaboration between Carter and Nock On Archery/John Dudley. And yes, it's a modified Wise Choice.
Have you noticed an issue with pulling-power when using the 2-finger release? I worry that only having 2 fingers of contact will decrease draw strength.

Nothing wrong with the Carters / Nock 2 it, but do yourself a favor and at least go hold a Stan Onnex and play with the adjustability at your local shop. I'd bet money that you'd be able to get it to fit your hand better and be more comfortable than any of the carters. Just my .02

I have not.

Each person is different, the Stan Onnex is a great release too and you can go from a 2 finger to 4 finger easily. I just found my Carters to fit my hand better.

Any issues with pulling power on the Nock 2 it? Also, if anyone has a used Nock 2 it or a Wise choice that they want to sell, hit me up.
Not at all, I was skeptical of this as well but it’s really not a noticeable difference. You’re using the majority of your pulling power with the index and middle finger with a three finger release anyway.

Carter just cuz or wise choice, first choice is good aswelll. If you have money burning a hole the Uv button is pretty neat or the new Stan buttons(Stan and Carter have owned this part of the industry for years, if you come across a target 3 from Carter they whip a chocolate lite)
