Thread protectors on back T3X dovetail (223)

I started with the ones in the back and low light conditions thinking they were metal screws. Boogered them up pretty bad. Put heat to the front ones and backed them out with driver.

I saw on the Internet, where a lot of people just punched them through into the action. Will this work on the back? I can’t feel holes back there with finger curl from inside.

I’ve tried heating up a screwdriver and making a new purchase, but that’s not working. Can I just knock them through with a punch?
