I own a Volquartsen Black Mamba pistol that I love, so am familiar with Volquartsen quality. This is a $2000 rimfire rifle, so I am really interested in opions on this specific rifle if possible. I have tried to read other 22 LR threads and know there are many high quality makers (Voodoo, Kidd, Bergara, Tikka, CZ, etc). If you don't have specific input on the Volquartsen, then I'd love to hear your thoughts on what 22 LR you would spend your $2000 on. Looking forward to hearing your input!

My buddy has one of volquartsens 10/22 that is chambered in .17hmr that thing is sweet. He likes the finer things in life so I’m not surprised I’m also not sure I would drop 2k on a .22 I have a browning buckmark I put a threaded barrel on and it’s fun suppressed I would probably get a ruger mark 4 lite or something that is suppressor ready they are fun to shoot but out side of plinking or squirrels I don’t find a ton of value

Tactical Solutions also makes some very nice .22 stuff. I own two of their rifles and two Buck Mark pistols. They all shoot very well.

I have owned many Volquartsen rifles in .22/ .22 WMR, .17HMR and .17 WSM, as well as their pistols. However, I sold them all. They are nice, but over-priced IMHO. They do have some quality control issues as well. I had a repeated issue with the VT-22 take down. It was very inaccurate. I sent it back for repair, and they bought it back after it continued to struggle. I regret selling the .17 WSM, because it was a laser. I currently shoot an Anschutz 1761 .22WMR, and it is remarkably better in terms of quality. The Oryx does look nice, but I bet that it's a little heavy.
