Thoughts/hopes for Colorado’s next governor?

Part of the problem is the primaries as well, if you register independent “cough” “ cough” which D’s have instructed many to do you can pick which primary to vote in
I’m moving to the Pagosa area. In a pure blue state with that rule it might be better for me to register independent and vote for the most moderate D in the primaries.

Interesting

U.S. Senator Michael Bennet visited Steamboat for a Town Hall Thursday. One issue he brought up on Easy 94-1 was the wolf issue and how he spoke with ranchers here who were frustrated that the wolf plan had not been followed as far as reintroduction and management.

“I worry a lot about the trust between the Front Range and the Western Slope. The wolf stuff has really made things harder. There are a lot of ranchers in Colorado who believe people in Denver want to push them off of their private land, push them off of their ranches. Cattle ranching is such a fundamentally important way of life.”

Great if he can be taken sincerely (I know nothing about him). However, inclusive pragmatic talk like that might cost him the primaries.

I'd be surprised if Bennett doesn't win. He is not necessarily pro 2A, but he does seem cognizant and bipartisan to hunting, fishing and conservation policies. I hope of he does win, he doesn't get influenced by anyone in the current admin of CO and shakes up the CPW commission with actual representation of our constituency.
