have only punched paper so far, but the 300 Thors group best for me. Sounds like I should use the 320 Fury for hopefully a little more penetration, even though they do not group as well for me

I tried the Thor .500 300s in my CVA Optima. They shoot great but they’re so dang hard to load I’m worried about being out in the mountains and ending up with a broken ramrod or a bullet stuck 1/2 way down my barrel. Some days they load fine, other days they just refuse to load…probably going to switch to a different bullet.

Sounds like you have a tight bore and need to try the .499” bullets.

Yeah considering it. The guy on the phone said it should be tight and barely anyone Uses .4999 but I think I need to…

15lbs seating pressure if what they used to recommend. When I shot them, I seated them with 2 thumbs over the ramrod. They dont need to be extremely tight, just enough to hold them in place.
