My name is Thomas Yeager and I am from Clearfield, PA. I have been reading and watching this site for the past 4 months or so as myself and 2 friends have decided to finally go hunt elk this coming year. We have been throwing the idea around for 5 years give or take but have been busy buying houses and having children. Finally this year we basically said lets go and figure it as we can.
I really enjoy the research aspect (maps, data, gear) but will be happy to get on the road. Only 8 more months give or take. Thanks for all the advice that I have gleaned from these pages. If anyone lives in the area or is passing through and wants wet a line let me know. I am an avid fly fisherman and can help with access to some remote streams as well as all the famous Central PA Waters. I have also spent a good amount of time hiking in the North Central part of the state in the last 2 years so if there are questions along those lines feel free to ask. I have noticed some other members from PA so hello to all of you.
