That’s been my main hunting world for 45 yearsHunting coues deer country (more mountainous unit) a week ago I do think that's some very fall-prone terrain. Just so much loose rocks to slip out from under you.
Nobody has to move over rough ground, it is not required to be hard core, but when people who can't do something and therefore don't understand it, start looking down and giving pathetically ignorant advice about fitness and trekking poles to those who have the skill, it is amusing.
You saw how it shoots, right? You might have trouble selling a used gun for awhile though…

shit happens when you actually go hunt and shoot enough. It’s inevitable.
Yeah. Anytime time you mention slipping and falling, multiple dudes chime in about how you must be clumsy, or you must not be athletic blah blah blah. Okay, so they’re not hunting in steep and loose terrain. It's amazing how people questioning this tend to have very pretty, very new looking guns.
Ive climbed Everest with a 200 pound pack and never slipped once. This, of you are clumsy hunting. You shouldn't be out.Yeah. Some fat dude who only goes hunting in a tree stand overlooking a corn feeder and the farthest he walks is 30 feet from the truck.
Hey, road hunting is hard on guns since they have to be quickly accessible and all!Rifles moving in and out of vehicles, movement against packs and other gear, brush, shooting off of anything other than a bipod...over time, if you're using your guns enough, it'll show.
What your torque specs on ring and base screws?
The frustrating thing is, you don’t necessarily get what you pay for. When it comes to holding zero through hell or high water, $400 SWFA scopes consistently outperform other brands that are 3x-5x the price, sometimes more.Wow, thanks for sharing. And yes, you absolutely get what you pay for.
