A lead sled has nothing to do with shooting well. Feel free to find all of the 50bmg, 338 Lapua, 338 win mag, 500 Jeffrey, 300 win mag, 7mm rem mag, 300 prc all shooting well off of lead sled too . Purpose of the lead sled is to showcase the performance of the rifle as to not depend on the shooter, not "Oh my this thing recoils so bad I have to use a lead sled" . I have hundreds of examples of also shooting the magnums on bipod, offhand, prone, etc. etc . Same whole groups with 338 win mag. From my 24 hours on this website it seems the entire point of this web page is centered around people making false claims and bringing people down . Instead of complaining online and talking bad about others let's go do something productive - build people up, read a book, start a new hobby, get a job.

One of the most common reasons for using a lead sled is for higher volume shooting where you want to take out the human element/margin of error, especially higher recoiling cartridges. If ever there were an appropriate application for this style shooting rest, it would be with the type of multiple ammo testing that Adam frequently videos.

So why don’t benchrest shooters, ELR shooters, etc use lead sleds to load dev at least? Because they can shoot tighter without one. You can be more consistent, allow the gun to recoil like it’s supposed to, and shoot tighter without a sled.

They are a crutch for people who want to avoid recoil or don’t know how to build a solid position on a bench/prone.

I could argue that you could factually prove that a Tikka is a superior rifle to a mossberg patriot. So where are all the false claims?

I'd take a Mossberg Patriot anyway over a Tikka t3x . Why in the world would I choose a junk Tikka that shoots 2 inch groups over a Mossberg Patriot that shoots half inch groups every time. That would be the definition of insanity.

Look. I’ve never watched any of your videos. I skimmed through the one that was posted here and the things you say, and your practices for coming to “conclusions” are so far and away from anything actually statistically relevant thats it’s not even worth the time to type out this response. Yet here I am haha.

Maybe some of your other videos have some sort of firearms related “value” to them, but based on your replies here, I’d say it’s likely more of the exact same.

It doesn’t have anything to do with “Tikkas” or “Mossbergs” and if you haven’t realized that yet, you have an IMMENSE amount of learning to do.

You can’t prove anything, because it is all based on an opinion. That is the whole premise of every one of his videos. His opinion based off of his review.

I’m not missing any point. I think everyone else is missing the point. Like I just said, all of this is based off of this one guys opinion.
He may not do things the way you or anyone else do them, but it all comes down to his opinion.
Which is just the same as all the folks who have talked about him. Those are their opinions.

And others too. They have a right to express an opinion that Adam uses inferior equipment and techniques to provide optimal results. Adam is a public figure and gets paid to be in the publics eye and with that payment, he has to be ready to take criticism and have a tough skin. That's part of the job.

Definitely yes. I think that you saying something slowed the feeding frenzy. Yet there are honest questions about why certain processes are used in Adam's videos when they go against best practices used and taught by the best shooters in the world.

Absolutely! I completely agree.

Believe it or not, I agree with everything you guys have said. I feel that some of his methods aren’t the best, and I personally have a tikka 300wm Superlite that I feel is far and above the vast majority of factory rifles.
But… it’s a two shot rifle, just like most other skinny barrel magnums. I’ve got two other brand rifles that do the same thing.

It’s all good. I’m not upset or mad about any of it.
