I don't even know who most of those guys are.

The BF guy seems affable enough, but it's clear that his main goal is to push certain product and, by extension, his reviews should be taken in that context. Not hating on him, as he has figured out a way to get paid for spending his days playing with gear, just making the point that most of us who pay for everything with their own cash generally don't have time to produce videos detailing the process of testing it all.

I’ve never shot their 7prc, but I’m not aware of any change over their other models (other than a different chamber cut obviously).

I’ve never shot their 7prc, but I’m not aware of any change over their other models (other than a different chamber cut obviously).

The issue is that a super lite rifle is going to be a bear in the more powerful cartridges. It’s going to be harder to shoot well. It’s not that Tikka cheaped out on that particular rifle, it’s that it’s a stupid, niche combination. A Tikka super lite in a lighter cartridge makes a lot more sense.

Oh I agree on this. I was just commenting that the other user seemed to imply that Tikka took shortcuts or otherwise modified the 7prc.

You hit the nail right on the head, light rifles don’t shoot well in heavy caliber
I had to add weight to my 375 ruger to get it to start shooting well

Tikka makes good stuff in light recoiling calibers
But imo stuff starts tweaking and flexing in heavy caliber

Oh I could less, I’m not really in to Social media scene(out side a forum or two) or influencers, I only have “a” tikka and it’s a 10 shot 1 MOA or better with multiple OTC loads. My kids put about 400 rds a month through it
