I've been in the shadows as a guest for a bit. Ready to participate and contribute where I can.

I've hunted since I was about 12 years old, mostly with gramma and grandpa (big SCI members, Sacramento chapter president for a bit) but have broken away from family hunts more in the last couple years. Living in a small coastal community with limited hunting access, fishing has been my main activity. I have consistently fished salt water since about 6 years old for sport and for commercial.

I tinker, whether it's with rifles, archery, or
4x4s. But most apt with 4x4s and fabrication. I've gotten into hand loading and bow tuning mainly because the closest shop is 2 hours away.

I'll be lurking around, throwing in my $.02 here and there. Also waiting for upcoming draw results with excitement.

I'm open to suggestions and conversation on training, gear, tactics, media, access, fishing, fab, vehicles, and general hunting.

I'm curious as to what people do for a living as well.
I farm wine grapes and commercial fish. What do you do?

Welcome. I grew up in trinity county. I love the not cal coast. I’ve spent a lot of time fishing out of Trinidad. Well not a lot but as much as I can manage....

Trinity is an awesome county. I've spent some time on the trinity river for steelhead. I could live there, but I'm on the coast of Mendocino, so it's pretty tough to leave. Trinidad would be a suitable comparison.
