Third Season Rifle strategy.

I drew a third season rifle tag in unit 85. Actually never been on a rifle hunt in my life because I’ve only been a bow hunter. During third season is it best to cover as much ground as possible on foot or place myself in an area that has good deer numbers/sign with a good vantage point and wait. I’m sure it’s all situational but just curious as to what some of your guy’s successful strategies have been. Any input would be awesome. Thank you ahead of time.
