Thin but higher R value sleeping pad?

I sleep well on Klymit static V design. I have an insulated model from circa 2018. Come to find out it has an actual R value of less than 2.

I’ve tried various different 2.5-3” thick air pads include therma rest. Felt like I was on a small version of those cheap blow up mattress despite changing the internal air pressure. Lower back and neck don’t agree with that style

Klymit has been known to greatly inflate their r values in the past so I’m trying to stay away. Any other thin pad, decent r value suggestions?

My XTHERM seems slim but I don't know the dimensions off hand.

I just got done spending 3 nights on the new xtherm. Warm pad but wasn’t great on the lower back. I tried different pressures each night. I usually am not picking when it comes to beds but air mattress seem to get me if it’s essentially one large air chamber

I had an Xtherm and sure it for a couple outings and was warm but not comfortable for me. I switched to the Big Agnes Rapide Sl and is a little thicker but I sleep a lot better on it. I’m a side sleeper so need to sacrifice a little bit of weight for a thicker pad. Definitely would recommend.

I cut it to the shape of my pad, and yes. I take the weight penalty. Even going 6 miles back, I will leave other comforts (like a glassing chair) chair behind for the sake of better sleep.
I get it probably doesn't weigh much really but does it pack down small? I imagine that thing being huge even cut and tied up tight

If you use a few loops of para cord it can cinch down about near the size of a full thermarest z pad. I’ve also cut it down to three quarter length before and padded the foot area of my bedding with spare clothing or a backpack, etc. that cuts the size as well.

I sleep better in thinner pads. The thick (3” or so) pads don’t allow me to sleep very well even after trying different air pressures

Are you rolling off? Have you thought about adding a thermarest zlite under your current pad? Might add enough insulation from the ground to make your current pad more comfortable.
