These guys disagree with RS’s caliber choices

Pretty funny. People can use what they want. My first custom rifle was an 1-8" twist 22-250 sometime around 2005 or 2006 I think. Killed a ton of deer with that rifle and 75 amax's. I built my first 223ai shortly thereafter and have been using them ever since. They are still working today 😆

It just proves anyone can get published online. I wouldn't put too much into what the author wrote after seeing that he posted this hero picture on Instagram of his "Colorado mule deer". Bucks like that fall to nothing less than the "lord's cartridge".

Oof, wonder if he had to get an FAA permit to carry that rifle around in the mountains.

Looks like a blessed dude with a wonderful family though.

I always laugh at guys who use magnums with the excuse of “I want it to drop no matter where I hit it”.
They act like the mighty lords caliber is going to save them from poor marksmanship.
I did find some humor in the article, I jokingly say all the time that if Jesus deer hunted he’d use a 25-06 lol.

This post is just dripping with humble brags haha glad he had enough wallop to take down that brute…

Is it satire? His story about why you shouldn’t use small calibers is a kid dropping a charging buffalo in one shot with a 22 hornet.

You just wait. In 40 or 50 years you'll miss a deer's heart by 0.050" and wish you shot 300 win mag, I tell ya what :)
