These guys disagree with RS’s caliber choices

I went and read the "article". @Q_Sertorius is right, don't bother and don't give him the click.

If I intentionally combed the .223/6mm threads, trying to compile the least informed and fallacious arguments into one vomitous mass, I probably still wouldn't have something so incoherent and worthless.

It's the worst versions of the following arguments:
-Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
-You owe it to the animal.
-The anonymous "undersize round" guy and the crowd that follow him have brain damage (implied).
-Use enough gun!
-.300WM is my choice for Mississippi whitetails.
-Conventional wisdom and common sense say...
-A guy once killed a cape buffalo with a .22 hornet behind the ear, but that doesn't make it a good idea.

It just proves anyone can get published online. I wouldn't put too much into what the author wrote after seeing that he posted this hero picture on Instagram of his "Colorado mule deer". Bucks like that fall to nothing less than the "lord's cartridge".

Pretty funny. People can use what they want. My first custom rifle was an 1-8" twist 22-250 sometime around 2005 or 2006 I think. Killed a ton of deer with that rifle and 75 amax's. I built my first 223ai shortly thereafter and have been using them ever since. They are still working today 😆
