How have these held up? Would a guy be crazy trusting this in the backcountry?

My 8 yr old Thermorest finally took a dump. Need a replacement

I have one I’ve used on a few August hunts. I know when they came out there was a large batch that was defective but mine has been good. You do need to baby it, it’s scary thin. It’s a specialty piece, not appropriate for everything.

I own one but would not risk hunting it. It's for high summer canoe trips only.

The UL backpackers are even pretty ambivalent about them.
