What’s the r-value on the “updated” one? This one is 6.9. I picked one up myself. Hell of a deal.

This is the updated version with the new winglock valve. I don't think the newer version is necessarily warmer, ASTM just standardized on how R values are measured, and due to the new testing Thermarest's values actually went up.

Just an FYI but me original estimated shipping was updated by about a week. Now looking at next Wed delivery.

I called them this AM only difference is the newer versions have the winglok valves and the body shape is mummy. The mummy vs rectangle version difference is just the shape, nothing more.

If you don't care about 5" width and longer, the shorter thinner mummy version is $20 cheaper on Amazon as well.

Mine showed up today. It is indeed a max (ie square not mummy) and it has the winglock. In short it is just a better price. Only odd thing is it shipped in the display box vs a shipping box with the display box inside. I blew it up to ensure no punctures... I will let it sit for a few days to ensure it doesn’t leak.
