Was looking at ordering one of these compressible pillows, what size are you using for backpack hunts?

I know it's not the answer to your question exactly.. But I use my Uncompaghre as a pillow.. One less thing to pack..

I have three of those thremarest pillows. I love them, but only use for truck camping. I bunch up my down jacket and some other items in a stuff sack for a pillow on backpack hunts.

All mine are large.

I have a large Thermarest. I have to have a pillow. I have tried the rolled up jacket and it doesn't work for me. Sleep and my sleep system is something I try not to cheat on.

Sometimes I'll carry my girlfriends medium when I'm solo and need the space. This is one thing I can't skimp on after years of using my face as a battering ram.

I tried like 5 different inflatables they're like sleeping in a beach ball.

I also have the large and love it. I always use it truck camping, backpacking, and scouting. For actually hunting, I find that it takes too much space in my pack and use my quilt's stuff sack full of my extra clothes.

Have sea to summit with down padding, totally changed my sleep for the better after failed experiments with balling up puffy coats and a klymit inflatable.
