The VIVO Barefoot discount code thread

@Hunt_Jefferson: Thanks - that's a steal considering the RRP is $370, and they Vivo only seem to do black now (which seems a bit silly for a jungle boot).

I'm really wanting to pull the trigger - but the laminated construction concerns me ... that plastic on the outside is just going to peel off given enough time ...

It's a steal at $370 if they'd just list retail price at $789.99

I just don't get these outrageous prices.

According to the official Vivobarefoot website and their FAQ/support pages:
  • Shoes are currently produced in Portugal, Vietnam, and Ethiopia.
  • Specific factory locations for each product are detailed in the "Materials and Transparency" section on their product pages (vivobarefoot.com).
  • They have been transitioning main production lines from China to Vietnam.
  • Certain lines, like the Addis and Ababa Vivo models (leather-based everyday footwear), are specifically made in Ethiopia in partnership with Pittards, using locally sourced materials and supporting community projects.
  • Premium or artisan lines (e.g., some Handcut ranges) have historically been crafted in Portugal.

All you Vivo fans- REI is having a sale on some Vivo models. Combine with a coupon code and they’re a great price. Picked up some Trail 3.5s in white for a warm weather sneaker (probably discontinued because why would anyone buy a white trail shoe?) and they fit true to size.

I'm going to try my first pair of Vivos with this code. They'll be used hard for hiking around Colorado this summer and fall. I see everyone talking about the tracker forest ESCs. But what about the Tracker Textile AT IIs? They say they're waterproof, and I'd prefer a waterproof boot. How do the 2 compare?

I've said it once and I'll say it again:
You guys are the best.
Just got a pair of tundra's & backup tracker forest for $415

It annoys me that they don’t do half sizes other than 12.5 Then I look at the size chart and am even more confused. I wear a 10.5, my feet measure at exactly 10.5 inches. According to their chart I’m a US size 9. Using their calculator, it says I’m a 10…

The Vivo50 worked for me today. Used the foot scan/shoe fitting guide and it had me order 9s even though I usually wear a 10.
