The Teratorn: A Shoot2Hunt X EXO Bag Collab

I still don’t own a Teratorn bag yet….but figured I’d share how I modded a 2200 bag to follow the efficient/quick access philosophy behind the Teratorn design.
The 2200 bag comes with two horizontal straps that cross over and block the main zipper. I had @mxgsfmdpx’s wife remove those straps and replace with loops on the insides of the zipper. This way I can run shock or p-cord to strap something down and still have access to the bag with a quick zip, no more unbuckling.

The orange zipper pulls are for the main bag, Open up around the top, grab my 15x binos. Open downward and grab puffy, rain jacket, etc…

I also added paracord loops to the lower bag and shock cord loops with cord locks above for trekking poles, similar to the Teratorn. Storing them this way keeps the left side open for my tripod and the right side free for my rifle.

This was just my way of fine tuning a 2200 for day hunts and making it simple to access whatever I need.
Can you take some close up pictures of how you attached the paracord and shock cord loops? I really like this idea for trekking poles. Thank you

Top: shock cord is just looped through this tab. I left enough slack so it easily goes over the top of the pole, cord lock snugs it down.

Bottom: make a paracord loop to fit the bottom of your pole, then tie it off to the 1” loop that your lower bag compression straps anchor to.

Perfect. Thank you very much. I know what my project of the day will be.
