The Teratorn: A Shoot2Hunt X EXO Bag Collab

I went with two single loops instead of the weave that @mtnwrunner has above. Stove goes in one loop, snack bag in the other. Gloves/hat/buff/whatever else go in the lid loose and take up any extra space. I tried the weave at first but ended up with this setup, I found it allowed for easier access to the items individually vs losing tension on the whole shebang when I pulled snacks or the stove out.

I’m going to give this a try and see if it works better for me. Thanks for showing it.

The functional reason to have the zipper as it is, is because you do not want to put your pack frame down as a matter of habit. In snow and wet conditions the frame and pads against your back gets soaked if you do so; in dirt and mud- you get dirt and mud grinding into the shoulder straps and hip belt. As it is now- the pack is laid down bag side, and the lid can be accessed while laying down.

This makes sense, I even have a ski backpack that the whole back panel zips open for the same reason (it's frameless). Don't you still need to set it on the frame to get into the other pockets though? I have a regular K4 so maybe the wing pockets on the teratorn solve that issue?
