The above statement is in conflict with the two below. These rest of what you wrote is noise trying to justify being unsafe.I’m not scanning the other side of the valley with my scope. I’m using it for Positive Identification.

I know my target

Curious what winnerwell stove you are packing in?Went for a few laps and thought I’d take some pics and video to show it a bit better.
This is packed for 5 full days and nights- tent, sleep system, Winnerwell full stove, food, puff suit, tripod annd 15x binos, Jet boil, water bottles, etc, etc.

Does the bag get unstable on your back with the bat wings full? I ask because it looks like it would be wide and make a hiker more likely to tip over.
I do like the bungee on the outside of the main bag. I also like anted to do that on the outside of my K4 2200.
Listened to my first shoot 2 hunt podcast (suppressors)
They talked about pre orders, how about a price hint, it’s close to July![]()
The demand on a hunting pack is way different than other packs and purposes. I played with those fabrics all excited, but came to the conclusion they didn’t bring enough value. Can you explain some specific downsides? Seems like there's a lot of packs out there with these fabrics and I haven't heard of issues, not that I've been looking either.
I have a design I played with that has stretch fabric as a wing to cover and contain the rifle instead of straps, but I like the set up a lot of the teratorn.Used the teratorn to practice the hunting rifle drill tonight. I really like how the wings contain the rifle when it’s in a rifle holder. It’s so nice having a bag wrapping around the rifle rather than a single strap, as it’s far less prone to get straps tangled in the rifle/scope. The more I use this design, the less I want to use my 5000 for any hunting.

No issues with it being wide and its very stable. Recently went on a short backcountry bear hunt/fishing trip and i was at 55 pounds. First one in this spring on this trail so it was narrow in lots of places and no carry issues.Does the bag get unstable on your back with the bat wings full? It was the X-PAC and the similar Eco stuff.Do you remember which fabric versions you disliked?
I am over the moon with UltraPE 400 and haven't discovered the downside with Ultra Grid that some have mentioned. @KickinNDishin will end up buying one of these bags, but I can't convince myself to switch from Seek to Exo.
Xpac is a good to equivalent alternative to cordura, depending on the user's priorities. I can understand you perspective if your experience lies just in Xpac, it's not a good example of what else is out there though. It was the X-PAC and the similar Eco stuff.
It’s not bad fabric, but it doesn’t work for a lot of western hunting when it’s mostly dry. Northwest and Alaska is a different story, but I wouldn’t buy a bag just for that.
It’s $999 and sales started June 1. You do have to add a $100 transfer fee for Silencer Shop.
There are several review threads, including one I just started. Feel free to ask further questions there.
