Ryan and I are back in Southern Idaho with the Legend and his son Cash. Cash and I have an elk tag, and both Ryan and I have a deer tag. It’s been a few years since we’ve been hunting with our Robbo and we are STOKED! We are hoping to go live on IG later this week if you guys want us to do a Q&A. Let us know in the comments, and follow along on this thread!

SpongeROB knows how to treat a girl. He and Jodi met us at our hotel with a beverage and he rented a port-potty so I wouldn’t have to pee outside while hunting!

Remind Ryan that Porta potties for you. When I went to rent it, I found out he’s on the “no rent list” Just done too much damage in the past.

@Billy Goat got any of them porta potty memes

Hot shower?

Having been there…I’ll assure you that it’s a daily occurrence.

So nice!

Day 2 with the Kuiu women’s PRO brush pant: Quick. Down and Dirty Review-
Slimmer fitting especially around the ankle. They still fit over boots, but it’s tight. The material is a little loud and shiny, but has proven tough in the Southern Idaho sage brush and thick patches of Aspens. If you think you will want to wear base layers with these pants, size up. They have zip vents in the inner thighs(cooter coolers) and outer thighs. The top of the vent pockets zip open at the top to a large pocket on both legs. There are two pockets very close to the waist band that are a little tight and difficult to access.

There’s 6 of us hunting this ranch and we’re all trying to cover different parts of it, my son couldn’t go this morning (test at school) so I was the scout and sure enough, I was the only one that had bulls within range, but everybody was seeing elk. Tanya and Ryan made an impressive mile climb to get to me but the bulls had made the timber. Before I saw those, they made a play on a herd but they got in cover. Lots of that here.

And then tonight with the storm coming in nobody saw or heard an elk. It’s kind of got them shut down right now. Big full moon tonight too. Gonna get wet cool and maybe a little snow next few days. It will certainly help vs the record temps we’ve had.
