The Rokslide Stock Traders Thread

Tariffs are gonna make for some tough sledding I'd imagine. I am not against them, just know it's gonna get worse before it gets better. It's almost like a cok off to see who blinks first. Time will tell...

Was reading on the tariffs stuff and saw this chart. Thought it was interesting 10 days vs 60 days later change.

Idk how the market will react but lots of investors are expecting a sell off. Dry powder is locked and ready.

So will these tariffs tank the market tomorrow y’all think or you think it was prepared?

The forex markets opened and the USD dropped across the board. My stop loss sold as soon as the market opened.

Not a trader.. As I’m reading I presume buy in in 4-10 days into this and expect upward movement? Help a retard out! More thinking when to buy in on Roth IRA some small stocks.

Timing worked great for me on mid third quarter last year as election year and most fourth quarters are a bull historically(from my minimal research)

Can't wait to see what the markets do tomorrow.

I expect a wild ride for a good while so fasten your seat belts boils and goyles.

XOM, KO, OXY held better than most today I think. These are long term holds for me though. SHIB of course got bent over but I was expecting that.

I love in an area that CN railroad moves through, and use to work for them. Been an uptick for in trains with oil, lumber, potash moving south. Already rumblings of furloughs coming, after surge to get products state side.

I honestly don’t think anyone knows.

I will most likely be putting some limit buys on some stocks as soon as I am done with a meeting and have some more time to look at them.

If I wasn’t broke currently I would also. Seems they paused Mexico tariff already. Gonna be a lot up up and down I’m guessing

Grabbing INTC

Intel (INTC) – Intel has been expanding its foundry business, particularly in the U.S. and Europe. A disruption to TSMC could accelerate its position as a key supplier.
