I’v got this rifle and use 4 diff bullets for diff things. Dont have to adjust zero either.

Except for varmints, all I've use for 35 years has been a .338 Win. Mag. for antelope to grizzly!

I used to be. Older browning a-bolt 300 win mag. I added quite a few since then but now I’m trying to get back to one gun with a tikka t3 lite 7mm rem mag.

I shoot a 308 I bought a 1989. I've shot Crows with it, groundhogs, coyotes, feral predators, deer, wild hogs, and a whole bunch of crap I've either forgotten or can't say on social media. And several thousand water jugs and high hundreds of scrap watermelons jammed onto metal fenceposts. And one propane tank.

I need a new barrel. She bout gone.

This rifle has never failed me. I am convinced it has never missed. I take full responsibility for any failure to connect.

I feed it only Sierra 2125 bullets and 165 nosler partitions.

Sold my 30 06, 300 win mag this year and picked up a 7 mm mag. It's going to be my one gun after I saw how well it worked on elk!!!! I'm getting to old to shoot slot of stuff. Remember, beware the man with one gun....lol.

i had one gun for two decades. savage 110 in 30-06. did what it was supposed to do and it was left handed. scratched up and beat up and ugly as hell but shot amazingly well and freezers were full. but then i had the chance to pick up a left handed tikka 7 RM at a stupid low price and i've always wanted a 7 RM. that became my hunting rifle for a bunch of years.....until i took my tikka tactical in 308 antelope hunting with a can on the end. why am i blasting away with a 7 mag scaring all of god's tasty creatures and making them run all over the place?

so now i'm 80 rounds into a .308 tikka roughtech which i'll use from now on....i swear

well, until i turn my second tikka 7 RM into a 300 WSM....

I generally have one primary rifle that I use for all of my rifle needs… currently it’s a tikka super lite in a krg bravo chambered in .308 shooting 175gr terminal ascents, has a little NXS on it, and don’t really need anything more for rifle hunting

Trying to acquire a .223 right now, thought I had that dialed, have the glass and a bunch of ammo for it, haha. I will probably use it a lot when I get it going, and planned to kill my blacktail with it this year, but that’s not going to happen fast enough for this year.

I like getting new rifles, but need to have a purpose for it, or I will sell the one I’m replacing. I don’t want rifles I don’t shoot, I don’t like any that much, I would rather get rid of it and use the money for something I will use.

The one rifle I want when I get around to it is a 257wby, but I’m pretty sure that will be a project because there is nothing currently offered in that chambering that I care for. I will set it up with a 3-10 shv and it will be sighted in for mpbr. I could easily use it for everything I do, but I’ll keep a rifle that’s in a more common chambering as well

300 wby here. I can shoot 165, 180 grains all in barnes ttsx. Very versatile and is coined "ol reliable". Use it for everything big game.

One day while going on a trip my wife and I were talking and she asked how many guns I'd owned over my life. She fully knows and supports my sickness of buying and selling and trading guns, scopes, ammo, stocks, components etc. We made a list as I drove and she put them into a memo on her phone..... So I've owned and still own a benelli m2 but have had I think it was 5 different benelli shotguns at 1 particular time, 4 different beretta over unders, a few auto loaders, a 7 stw, 3 different 300 win mags and 2 different 300 wsm. A few different 270 wsm and a 7mm wsm. I had a custom 260 for a while and gave it to my dad. A 375 h&h that was totally necessary to kill a deer in Georgia with. I had a set of every chambering 1100 made and sold it to a fella that owns a big quail plantation in South Georgia. I say all that to say I have a really hard time owning just 1 rifle. Now I will add that for several years I only hunted with a TC Encore and killed alot of stuff with it. I have a bergara in 6.5 creedmoor I've carried almost exclusively for the past few years but its not "the one" I don't believe. I cant even begin to remember all the pistols I've bought and sold or traded. I wish I had all that money back that I've spent on guns that I don't own anymore though. I need to start buying guns for the kids next I guess.

I own a bunch of rifles but I only hunt with one the last 6-7 years.T3x superlite 7rem mag in a McMillan Sako Classic stock, Zeiss v4 4-16x50 shooting 150 scenars at 3150. Rifle is a tool - lots scars, scratches, marks. Scopes been banged around and still dials, holds zero and tracks as it should.

Kills whatever critter I point it at. Has taken numerous mule deer, antelope, black bear, elk, shiras moose, coyotes, and a wolf.

Never even think about grabbing anything else these days…

I have tons of rifles. I bow hunt everything. Many of my rifles are new, my bow is like 7 years old.

Started off as a teen with my dad's 270 win rem 700, inherited a modle 742 woodmaster in 30-06 from my great grandfather, moved to a 7.62x39 RAR for a whitetail brush gin. Moved to Alaska and picked up a savage 116 in 338 WM and that will probably be my last caliber of rifle that I get.... That is until I decide to make a 6.5prc mountain critter rifle

Yes. A Steyr Mannlicher in .270 Winchester shooting 130 grain Nosler Partitions. I kill elk cleanly with it. If I ever draw a moose tag, I won't hesitate to use it. It's not a tack driver either. I think because the Mannlicher stock touches the barrel and interferes with barrel harmonics. But I'm consistently about 2 MOA with it. So if I miss at 300 or closer, it's me and not the rifle or load.

If I ever feel the need to go up, like for Grizzly, I'll go way up. Something in the .375 class, at least. What I won't do is feel under gunned and go up a little and buy one of the various 7s, 8s, 30s, 33s, or 35s.

I’ve used a factory Tikka T3 in 7mm Rem Mag for about a decade now.

I recently built a custom 7mm PRC off a Defiance action so that will be my new hunting rifle.

I bought the wife a Tikka T3 in 308 and that thing is amazing. Most accurate gun I have… so far

Can't say I am a one gun hunter but as for rifle I have been shooting a Browning A bolt 30-06 for fifteen years. Prior to that it was a 7mm Mag for twenty. So I would call myself a part time one gun rifle hunter.

It's no wonder the Europeans call Americans gun Crazy with our obsession with guns. I say it's unamerican not to be gun crazy. LOL

I always intended to be a 1 gun guy, but I keep finding specific, unnecessary, niches that i just HAVE to fill.

I think that growing up in a country where firearms are almost unobtainable, started a 'novelty' purchase trend in me that has led to a fascination & passion for shooting in general & hunting rifle in particular that i find incredibly satisfying. Especially oddball & quirky chamberings & classic, safari style rifles. Although my go-tos are a brace of T3s in ought-six & 6.5x55 & a Rem 700 in .358

I'm beginning to realize recently though, that I really have no use at all for the .30-06

I am a one rifle guy; its a tikka. I have the magnum, standard, and .223 bolts for it and have a few barrels to swap between. This method allows me to have one premium set up with high end furniture and still shoot whatever caliber that suits my fancy. This frees up more money to spend on hunts.

Curious, do you run a barrel nut on your prefits for easier swaps or stick with standard?
