While my wife and I both did the pull ups/push ups/ squats....we didn't do the run. She didn't want to do that part. I will say, I'm a little sore today. I also have a new respect for those that have done this workout. It's an ass kicker for sure. If you did the Murph, you are a bad ass. Hats off to you.

I did it yesterday, 53:52 for me, legs feel great today, shoulders and lats are trashed from pullups.

Wife did 1mile/60/60/100/1mile in 40 exactly.

It's not much but it's honest work.

I did it, Cindy style.

I normally do the Murph on Memorial Day, July 4th and Veteran's Day and might sprinkle it in every now and again when I don't have any better ideas for a workout that day.

I used to do memorial workouts like these, but the older I got I realized that f****ing the rest of my day up, and probably the next day or two, and being less of a good dad than I want to be because of it, didn't make me appreciate my fallen bros any more than I already do. No love lost for anyone that does though, I guess I'm just too old to do the Murph nowadays and I wish I could just blast through a workout like this without a second thought. So I just get in a good workout, think about my bros that we've lost, and raise a glass to them.

I did the pullups in big sets (20-30) because they are the hardest for me and I wanted them finished the quickest. and split the squats and push ups up. ouchie.

Wife and I talked about doing this every 3rd day this summer as we are building a new house and won't have time to drive into the gym. seems like a good idea.

I did. 48:45. I only wore the 20# vest for the last mile this year. Not my best. But I woke up at 4:30 AM to drink beer and eat donuts and catch a limit of stripers. I was just trying to survive yesterday. I finally woke up about halfway through the squats.

Great workout! Every year that last mile is a nice slap in the face to how easy my life is thanks to those heroic Americans we've lost fighting for our freedom.

I haven’t done it in a couple of years until yesterday. I used to run a lot but have complex tears in both meniscuses so I’ve really slowed down on my workouts. I did it as follows yesterday:
1 mile run
20 rep Cindy
1 mile run
No vest
61 minutes which is about 10 minutes slower than ever. Blowed out knees and almost 50 ain’t for sissies!

I did it just bodyweight @ 50:20. Broke it up to 4-8-12 and 25 rounds of that. Pull ups are my weakest point so that helped with premature burnout. Last time it did it I did the 5-10-15. Definitely a little sore today lol.

I like doing it Cindy style (5-10-15 x20), it takes me a few sets to get my groove, but after that I just keep the same pace through it all and don't burnout.

Another thing I'll do if I don't feel like playing with kettlebells that day or am real strapped for time or traveling, I'll do 15 push ups, 15 BW squats every 45 seconds for 20 sets (15 minutes total), so you get 300 push ups and 300 BW squats in, in a hurry.
