I'm pretty sure I'm going to send in to add Attach points to back side of Snow Collar (If you guys would be willing to do that). I wanted to ask your opinion on adding Side zip access if that was a bad idea ??

Agree, bring on the access zipper.

I'd love a zipper in the pack too. It would be perfect. I'm thinking hard about getting one and having the modifications done myself. I understand that it takes away a little bit of the original intent of the pack, but I can choose to run a spotting scope pocket or not and use the zipper. I also thought about using the straps in the center to keep things together. I really like the mountain warrior, but is just a little bit too much pack than what I need. A Tahr sized mountain warrior would be sweet for me. Either that, or a Tahr sized 14r ;-)

Can someone post a pic of how they have their guide lid running through the top common loops?

Not the best pics in the world but what's available on my phone right now.

Run the bag lid straps up under the bag handle, thru the common loops, thru the ladder locks on the the lid, back down behind the bag strap and neatly tucked behind the shoulder straps.
