...awesome! Why else would all these neighboring places be named like this? To keep people away from a prize hunting area, of course! Starvation, hungry, mirage, dismal, disappointment, runaway! Or maybe it's honest and truly a sign that I shouldn't waste my time.

Lots of my hunting areas are similarly named there and I do quite well.

Look at a map long enough especially along the Lewis and Clark route and old tribal trails and sometimes the names make one giggle.
